Current University of Hull undergraduate students, Samadhi, blend Free Jazz and Folk music to create a meditative and improvised mix of sounds. With a more experimental jazz quartet lineup including cello and sometimes clarinet too, the band create interesting textures with which to perfrom their compositions. This piece, titled Spencer, is dedicated to saxophonist Sam Johnson who joins the band on tenor sax to perform this tune. Find out more about Samadhi on their Facebook page.
