One of the many issues the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light is the flawed streaming architecture which, in many cases, leaves songwriters and musicians without enough money to provide for themselves and their families. A problem which is heightened by musicians not being able to earn money from performances at venues due to the social distancing guidelines.
