Eddie Lawler’s Scarborough Jazz

Eddie is a familar face at the Scarborough Jazz club annual ‘Players Night’ when the stage is opened up to all musicians and singers whether your’re a pro passing through or you’re nervously taking to the stage to perform for the first time. In recent years the night has seen French chansons, Brubeck’s ‘Take Five’ superbly played on the harp, a rousing turn on a beautifully made washboard-based percussion instrument, and this ditty specially written for the club… You’ll be glad to hear that discussions are taking place as to how Scarborough Jazz club might be able to return.
