Ian Chalk’s regular performances at Scarborough Jazz are always popular. The York based trumpeter, teacher, Firebird Quartet member, York Jazz Forum coordinator and father sure does keep himself busy. Suprisingly he also finds time to record, mix and produce his own music, with albums ranging from reworked standards to jazzy takes on classic Beatles songs.
