Scarborough based AC3 are possibly the town’s best kept musical secret.
Painist Adam Carpenter says most of their songs start with a tune he brings to the studio whch they then develop as a trio with each member seeimingly knowing exactly what they need to play to complete the compositions.
A growing fanbase will readily testify as to the chemistry between the band members with each player bringing their own influences – which include dub, hip-hop and the blues as well as straight-ahead jazz – which melds into their compelling sound.
The band are in the process of recording some new music but until then we we’d encourage you to check out their 2017 studio sessions which we will be featuring over the coming weeks.
